Article 1 (Purpose and Agreement to the Terms)

1.      These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users and the UKNARA Community (hereinafter "UKNARA") regarding the use of internet-related services (hereinafter "the Services") provided by UKNARA.

2.      Anyone who wishes to become a user shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms by completing the prescribed registration process and clicking the "Register" button. Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by relevant South Korean laws and customary practices.

Article 2 (Amendment of the Terms)

1.      UKNARA may amend these Terms within the limits of laws such as the Framework Act on Consumers, Basic Act on Electronic Commerce, Electronic Signature Act, Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilisation, and other applicable laws.

2.      If UKNARA amends these Terms, it shall announce the effective date and the reason for the amendment on the homepage at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date.

3.      The amended Terms shall apply to all users, including those registered before the amendment, unless the amendments contradict relevant laws.

4.      Users who disagree with the amended Terms may withdraw their membership in accordance with Article 7(1).

Article 3 (Definition of Users)

"User" refers to an individual who accesses UKNARA, registers as a member under these Terms, and uses the services provided by UKNARA.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

1.      A person wishing to become a member must fill in the registration form provided by UKNARA and click the "Register" button.

2.      UKNARA shall approve the membership application unless the applicant falls under certain disqualifying criteria.

Article 5 (Provision and Modification of Services)

1.      UKNARA provides the following services: (1) Online community services (2) Access to content sections, customised services (3) Other services developed independently or in collaboration with third parties

Article 6 (Service Suspension)

1.      UKNARA may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, replacement, equipment failure, or communication disruptions. Services may also be permanently terminated if deemed necessary by UKNARA.

2.      In such cases, UKNARA shall notify users as per Article 7(2), unless prior notice is not possible due to unforeseen circumstances such as acts of God, system errors, or intentional actions by administrators.

Article 7 (User Withdrawal and Disqualification)

1.      Users may request cancellation of their membership at any time, and UKNARA shall promptly process the request.

2.      UKNARA may restrict, suspend, or terminate membership in the following cases: (1) False information during registration (2) Misuse of reporting functions, disruption of services, or unauthorised use of others’ information (3) Acts violating laws or public morality

3.      Membership suspension procedures: (1) Automatic suspension upon reaching a report threshold (2) Review and disciplinary action by staff, with notice to the reported party (3) Immediate action for severe violations (4) Permanent removal of registration upon final decision

Article 8 (User Notifications)

Notices to an unspecified number of users may be posted on the UKNARA notice board for five (5) days in lieu of individual notification.

Article 9 (Protection of Personal Information)

UKNARA shall make efforts to protect users' personal data, including registration details, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its Privacy Policy.

Article 10 (User Posts)

1.      User posts include any text, images, videos, files, links, and comments uploaded to the community.

2.      Users may freely upload posts, but UKNARA reserves the right to restrict or delete content that violates the Terms.

Article 11 (UKNARA’s Obligations)

1.      UKNARA shall not engage in illegal or immoral acts and shall provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the Terms.

2.      UKNARA shall implement a security system to protect users’ personal and financial information.

3.      UKNARA shall not send unsolicited commercial emails.

Article 12 (User ID and Password Responsibilities)

1.      Except where required by law or the Privacy Policy, users are solely responsible for managing their ID and password.

2.      Users shall not allow others to use their ID or password.

3.      If users discover unauthorised use or theft of their ID or password, they must promptly notify UKNARA and follow instructions.

Article 13 (User Conduct Requirements)

1.      Users shall not: (1) Provide false information during registration or updates (2) Alter posted information (3) Infringe on intellectual property or interfere with services (4) Steal another member’s ID (5) Send junk/spam mail or inappropriate messages (6) Transmit illegal or prohibited information (7) Impersonate UKNARA staff or others (8) Upload or distribute malware (9) Stalk or harass other users (10) Collect personal data without consent (11) Violate service-specific terms (12) Conduct unauthorised commercial activity (e.g., advertising, illegal sales, hacking) (13) Disrupt community operations (14) Collect or store other users’ data (15) Defame others through false or malicious content (16) Upload obscene, graphic, or violent content

2.      Users are liable for any damage caused to UKNARA or other users.

Article 14 (Deletion of Public Posts)

UKNARA may delete public posts without prior notice and restrict or terminate the user’s membership if posts: (1) Defame or slander others (2) Violate public morality (3) Relate to criminal activity (4) Infringe intellectual property (5) Harm UKNARA’s interests (6) Contain inappropriate or harmful materials (7) Use another person’s identity or alter data without permission (8) Spam users with unsolicited promotions (9) Threaten service stability (10) Promote hate or discrimination (11) Violate these Terms or relevant laws

Article 15 (Copyright and Usage Restrictions)

1.      Copyright and intellectual property rights for the Services belong to UKNARA.

2.      Copyright for user-generated content belongs to the respective authors, but the layout and design belong to UKNARA.

3.      Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or commercially exploit information obtained through UKNARA without prior approval.

Addendum

These Terms take effect from the launch date of the website.
